RYAN: It’s got the makings of the quintessential boy movie but when it’s done right, we love them, don’t we?

CAROLINE: Absolutely!  We both certainly enjoyed Crank with Jason Statham a few years back.  How’s this one?

RYAN: I’d say I enjoyed it just as much.  This movie is awesome.
CAROLINE: Oh nice,  Break it down for me.

RYAN: Jason’s great.  I mean, he’s just this side of being a terrible actor.  He does scowl-acting.  But it just doesn’t matter.  He’s hot and charming and it all works for him.  Honey, he’s a star.

CAROLINE: [laughs’ You don’t have to convince me.  Who else is in it?

RYAN: There’s a young girl in this, Catherine Chan, with a sizable role and she’s so good.  This film required quite a bit from her and she stepped up to the plate.

CAROLINE: How are all the fight scenes?

RYAN: Really good.  There isn’t anything too crazy-new but there are a few moments that are shocking and you can’t help but react to them.

CAROLINE: That’s cool.  I wasn’t thinking this movie was must see based on the trailer.

RYAN: I wasn’t either but it kinda is.  The plot is really intricate and requires attention but not the kind that’s frustrating or confusing.  The story does take a couple turns later in the film which require suspension of disbelief but it’s a movie.  I never mind making those leaps.

CAROLINE: That’s fair as long as it’s not too cheesy.

RYAN: I didn’t think so.  This movie is really cool, intense, exciting, fast-paced…

CAROLINE: Keep going.  You’re on a roll.

RYAN: [laughs’ I’m done.  It’s just a really quick, great action movie.  As ever, I just wanna be engaged and entertained and this movie really sucked me in.  If you like action and some fighting, this one’s a winner.
