New on DVD

CAROLINE: It’s kinda slim pickins this week in DVD releases; at least in my book. But the kiddies will be very excited to know that “Jonas Brothers: The Concert Experience” is available on DVD and Blu-ray now.

RYAN: Listen, I saw this movie in 3D in the theater, and I really enjoyed it. It definitely won’t have the same effect watching it at home, but it’s a really fun movie. And I’m not even a Jonas Brothers fan.

CAROLINE: Well, apparently the Blu-ray version comes in both 2D and 3D and even includes four pairs of 3D glasses.

RYAN: Now there’s a reason to spring for the Blu-ray player! If you’re a 13-year-old girl, that is.

CAROLINE: “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li” is also new on DVD today. This is a movie based on a video game and clearly, neither of us saw it in the theater.

RYAN: Yeah, we couldn’t be bothered.

CAROLINE: It didn’t do well at the box office, so I can’t imagine anyone renting it either. But there’s always that crowd that likes the whole video-game-turned-movie thing. This one’s for you.
