CAROLINE: Today’s most significant DVD release needs no introduction – “Sex and the City: The Movie.”

RYAN: It’s just too exciting! And there’s a special 2-disc edition with an extended version of the movie. We were lucky enough to attend the super-fab DVD release party last week at the New York Public Library, and we actually got to interview the director, Michael Patrick King.

CAROLINE: He told us the movie was already pretty long so he didn’t want to add more to it for the theatrical release, but for the DVD he put a lot more of the “eye candy” shots of the girls and the city that we all know and love so much.

RYAN: I can’t wait to see it! BTW how cool was the release party?

CAROLINE: Amazing! They lit up the library with pink lights and had a pink carpet and all the girls were there except for Kristin Davis. They looked amazing as usual.

RYAN: We even got to interview Stanford and Anthony, the main gays. Love them!

CAROLINE: I love how Kim Catrall pretended to remember us from the last time we interviewed her.

RYAN: So funny. Clearly, we don’t need to tell you to buy this DVD immediately. All true fans of the series will be running out to do so today.
