New on DVD

CAROLINE: “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” is out on DVD today, and as you can imagine, I don’t care even a little bit.

RYAN: I loved this movie! And I’m telling you, you would too. You should give it a chance.

CAROLINE: There’s a special 2-disc edition for all you fans. But I can hardly bear to look at Nic Cage’s mug on the big screen for two hours.

RYAN: He’s not the greatest, but these movies are tons of fun with lots of mystery solving and action. It’s totally up your alley, trust me.

CAROLINE: Meh. Maybe someday I’ll see it on a plane.

RYAN: The DVD has tons of great extras too, including audio commentary from the director, a blooper reel, deleted scenes and lots of featurettes about the making of the film.

CAROLINE: There isn’t much else new on DVD today, other than “Strange Wilderness” starring Steve Zahn and Jonah Hill, which we couldn’t be bothered to see.

RYAN: Who’s got the time? Just rent “National Treasure.” I promise you won’t be disappointed.
