New on DVD

CAROLINE: This year’s Oscar winner for Best Picture, “No Country for Old Men,” comes out on DVD today.

RYAN: People, if you some how missed this in theaters, rent it immediately!

CAROLINE: Seriously. The DVD has little in the way of extras, but there are some cast reflections about working with the Coens, and a making-of featurette.

RYAN: That stuff doesn’t even matter. Rent it and watch it with the lights out.

CAROLINE: “Dan in Real Life,” starring one of our favorites, Steve Carell, also comes out today on DVD. This movie was so underrated. But I love everything with Steve Carell, LBH.

RYAN: The DVD has audio commentary from writer/director Peter Hedges as well as deleted scenes and a making of feature.

CAROLINE: Other noteworthy releases of the day are “Bee Movie” and “August Rush.”

RYAN: Oh, how I loved “August Rush”! Please rent it if you didn’t see it last year.

CAROLINE: It’s very sappy but so cute and such a great love story. I spent most of the movie in tears.

RYAN: I remember that. It was hilarious.
