Movie News – Will Smith to Play a Pharaoh!

CAROLINE: This is kind of cool – the guy who wrote “Braveheart” is writing a new movie to star the king of the box office, Will Smith, as Taharqa.

RYAN: Who in God’s name is Taharqa?

CAROLINE: I know, right? He was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who fought the Assyrians in about 667 B.C. Apparently Will Smith has been wanting to play this guy for a long time.

RYAN: Sounds like it’ll be epic on the scale of “Troy” or one of those old war movies.

CAROLINE: Definitely. I just wonder if anyone gives a crap about the story of this Taharqa.

RYAN: They will if Will Smith gets in his Muhammad Ali shape again.

CAROLINE: LBH, everyone will pay 12 bucks to see him in anything – you and me included.
