Movie News – The Hunger Games Breaks Record!

RYAN: We know it’s gonna open huge and it’s the start of a new movie franchise… but just how big we’ll have to wait till Sunday to see. In the meantime The Hunger Games has sold more advance tickets than any other non-sequel movie in history.

CAROLINE: Wow. That says something. Who is this according to?

RYAN: Entertainment Weekly. And, of course, all those sequels are of the Harry Potter and Twilight varieties.

CAROLINE: I can’t say I’m that surprised. Fans love to support their entertainment. And these book-to-movie adaptations are often bankable blockbusters.

RYAN: Much of the sales are already for the midnight showings tonight. I feel so lucky to have already seen it.

CAROLINE: Honey, you are blessed! I wanted to see it by now as well and I’m really looking forward to your review tomorrow.
