Movie News – “Harry Potter 6” Delayed

RYAN: I am so angry about this movie news that I swear I could just go suck lemons!

CAROLINE: I actually thought you were going to break down in tears when you heard this news.

RYAN: I might as well have. It’s totally bogus and completely unfortunate that we have to announce “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” slated for release this November, has just been pushed back to July 2009.

CAROLINE: I’ll allow you to take a moment.

RYAN: Thank you. [pause’ Warner Bros. is saying it’s due to last winter’s writers’ strike – that no blockbuster is ready for next summer so they’re saving HP for then.

CAROLINE: Right.

RYAN: But I think it’s just because “The Dark Knight” did so unexpectedly well this year that they don’t need the cash in the fourth quarter of ’08.

CAROLINE: You’re probably right.

RYAN: So Batman killed Harry Potter.

CAROLINE: [laughs’ Aw.

RYAN: We all know in a real duel Harry would take the Batman down in a swift flick of the wrist before Bruce Wayne could even say “lumos!”

CAROLINE: I’ll give you that.

RYAN: Whatever the reason, it’s shady and I don’t like it.

CAROLINE: You might have to go walk it off, honey.

RYAN: I’m wearing black tomorrow, at the very least.
