Movie News – “Candy Land” The Movie

RYAN: This has to be good news for either Dakota Fanning or Abigail Breslin. The Hasbro board game “Candy Land” is being made into a live action movie.

CAROLINE: I’m out. Though I did love that game growing up.

RYAN: [laughs’ I know you hate kids’ movies. But how cool would it be if they announced it was gonna be a horror film or sci-fi?

CAROLINE: Hello, nightmares! And would Hasbro ever allow that to happen?

RYAN: They wouldn’t, but you know… It’s set to be directed by Kevin Lima, the same guy who did Disney’s “Enchanted” which we both loved.

CAROLINE: Well, that’s a slight silver lining.

RYAN: Just think – somebody’s gonna get stuck in a gumdrop!

CAROLINE: Oh Lord. You’re way too excited about this.
