Movie News!
RYAN: This may be the most exciting movie news in WeSeeMovies.com history!
CAROLINE: Can you settle down enough to clue me in as to what’s news today?
RYAN: OMG. The final Harry Potter movie “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” will be two movies. So we’re getting 8 Harry Potter movies in all. It’s so much to digest!
CAROLINE: Wow. It’s, like, your birthday!
RYAN: Well in truth, I’m a bit conflicted about it.
CAROLINE: Whatever for?
RYAN: The first of the two “Deathly Hallows’ films will have an ending just like last year’s “The Golden Compass,” which cuts off before the ending. I hate cliffhangers like that.
CAROLINE: Yes. But in this case, you know you’re getting the next film. Unlike “The Golden Compass” which bombed at the box office and you’ll never see again.
RYAN: So sad. But consider this – they cut so much out of all the other Harry Potter books to make just one movie of each and then the last novel will include more details. It’s a wee bit unfair. They could have made two films out of several of the HP novels.
CAROLINE: You’re just gonna have to get over it. And think of it like this – there will be an extra opportunity for you to get excited about a new Harry Potter something.
RYAN: Right on. Part one of the movie will open in November 2010, with part two to be released in quick succession during the summer of 2011.
