CAROLINE: Did you hear? Coming off the wild success of “Juno,” Ellen Page has decided on her second film. It’s called “Whip It!” and you’ll never guess who’s going to direct.

RYAN: Umm… Ewan McGregor?

CAROLINE: I know you’re Ewan-obsessed, but no. Actually, it’s Drew Barrymore.

RYAN: Wow! I love her. I could totally get behind that.

CAROLINE: Apparently she’s always wanted to direct, which is what every major Hollywood actor says.

RYAN: So what’s the movie about?

CAROLINE: Not unlike “Juno,” it’s about an offbeat teen named Bliss. Watch Ellen Page get typecast in this role for as long as she looks young enough.

RYAN: Seriously.

CAROLINE: The movie takes place in small-town Texas where Bliss is pushed into doing beauty pageants. Then she finds her true passion by joining a female roller derby team. The screenplay was actually written by a real derby chick, Shauna Cross a.k.a. Maggie Mayhem.

RYAN: Ellen better work on developing some mad skating skillz.

CAROLINE: They start shooting in the summer, so she has until then to get on it.
