CAROLINE: Did you hear what they’ve done to our boy Ryan Gosling?

RYAN: No, do tell!

CAROLINE: It was announced in June that he’d be starring opposite Rachel Weisz in the screen adaptation of “The Lovely Bones,” which is an amazing book that made me cry a lot. It was a huge bestseller and the movie is being directed by Peter Jackson.

RYAN: Who did all the “Lord of the Rings” movies.

CAROLINE: Correct. But now it turns out that Ryan Gosling was booted from the role one day before shooting began, and Marky Mark Wahlberg has stepped in to replace him!

RYAN: OMG seriously? Who would want to replace Ryan G., one of the best actors in Hollywood? Not that Mark Wahlberg isn’t talented, but still!

CAROLINE: Believe me, I can’t imagine. But rumors abound. Apparently, Ryan and Peter Jackson didn’t get along; but people are also saying the Ryan was “difficult” on set and insisted on cutting his own hair and growing a beard, which the wardrobe people didn’t like. There’s also buzz that he got a little too tubby for the role.
