Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Zombieland: Double Tap Review

My reviews of the week’s new movies:
Both sequels, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Zombieland: Double Tap are fantastic films to see on the big screen.

I prefer both to their original counterparts. Maleficent 2 soars with the addition of Michelle Pfeiffer as Prince Philip’s mother, the Queen. Her scenes with Angelina Jolie are a masterclass in partner work. Likewise, Zooey Deutsch in the new Zombieland installment is the definition of a scene stealer. From the writer of Deadpool, the laughs are well earned in this film. Both movies receive the See it rating!

As a film critic, I really enjoyed reviewing both of these movies.
