DREAM HOUSE
RYAN: I was so excited to see the new scary movie Dream House mostly because I love the cast but also cos the trailer sold it pretty well.
CAROLINE: I was happy to let you have this one. I’m never a big fan of horror movies.
RYAN: Well then maybe you’d have liked this more than I because horror, it’s not.
CAROLINE: [gasps’ Really?
RYAN: Sadly. It’s seriously not scary. I mildly jumped once just due to editing but the story isn’t scary and it’s very slow moving.
CAROLINE: The trailer totally makes it look like a scary movie. Was it even creepy a little?
RYAN: Not really. Maybe it would be to a few people and it’s not that I think I’m jaded to the genre. It’s just a really boring movie that never takes off. And then in the last ten minutes it all comes together and is a little exciting; but by then, I didn’t even care because I was just so over it all at that point.
CAROLINE: I’m sad of that.
RYAN: I felt bad too cos I dragged my brother to it and he was also bored so it’s sort of an across-the-board downer.
CAROLINE: Ok… let’s get to the basics. How hot was Daniel Craig in this?
RYAN: Oh honey… the producers were smart. There were at least a few shirtless moments with Mr. Craig and let me tell you, the 007 is still in full effect.
CAROLINE: Nice. And this is the movie where he and now-spouse Rachel Weisz first collaborated. How was their chemistry?
RYAN: Evident. I adore her and all the more so since she’s now filming the role of the Wicked Witch of the West in the upcoming 2013 Oz, the Great and Powerful.
CAROLINE: And you won’t let us forget it.
RYAN: [laughs’ I can’t wait!!
CAROLINE: And the Aussie Naomi Watts?
RYAN: She’s there but really doesn’t have anything to do. It’s just a major waste of time and I can’t even recommend seeing this film on the little screen.
