New Trailer – OMG-worthy

RYAN: I’m so excited about this year’s new musical Burlesque. Not only because it marks the acting debut of my favorite pop star, but because I live for movie musicals.

CAROLINE: I love them too but I’m not quite sold on Christina Aguilera. And this movie looks so derivative.

RYAN: Well the ensemble cast is pretty genius. I mean, if they had confidence to sign on with her, that’s a good indication they were onto something.

CAROLINE: Possibly. It costars Cher, Stanley Tucci, Eric Dane, Alan Cumming, Kristen Bell, Peter Gallagher, and even Julianne Hough from TV’s Dancing with the Stars. That is a powerhouse cast – but look what that did for last year’s Nine… nothing.

RYAN: True. But I’m dying over this trailer! It’s so many fabulous movies meshed into one: Moulin Rouge meets A Star is Born; Chicago meets Showgirls. It’s girl power to the max and I’m counting the days. November will be abuzz between this and Harry Potter 7.

CAROLINE: That’s a lotta movie for you in one month. But I’m underwhelmed by this one.
