Movie News – Sequels Galore!

RYAN: Hollywood loves their sequels but this one is really outta left field.

CAROLINE: You’re referring to the Dark Crystal sequel?

RYAN: Yes! The first one came out in 1982 and I guess I thought if they hadn’t done so by now, why do one? I didn’t think it was even that big of a deal when that came out.

CAROLINE: You know I’m not into children’s movies anyway so I really don’t care about this.

RYAN: I think I have the original on DVD somewhere. I’m def down for it but have to admit it’s beyond random.

CAROLINE: Personally, I find it more interesting that they’ve announced a sequel to the new Nightmare on Elm Street. We were just wondering if it would happen and I guess it’s nice news for Jackie Earle, even if it only made over $30 mill last weekend.

RYAN: Well they sure as heck can’t bring back Kellan Lutz.

CAROLINE: If nothing else, it’s a nice chance for some other TV actors to get hacked on the big screen.
