2010 Oscar Nominations!
CAROLINE: OMG it’s my favorite morning of the year! Never am I so happy to hear the alarm go off on a Tuesday morning.
RYAN: It’s like Christmas morning at the WeSeeMovies household. And with Anne Hathaway announcing the nominations, I couldn’t be happier!
CAROLINE: There aren’t any huge surprises this year in the acting categories, though I was a little shocked to see Maggie Gyllenhaal get the Best Supporting Actress nom. Not that she wasn’t good; she just hasn’t really gotten any love for Crazy Heart.
RYAN: That was a surprise, as was Lee Daniels nabbing the Best Director nomination. Clint Eastwood was shut out.
CAROLINE: As much as I love Clint, that’s fine with me, because Invictus was no great shakes.
RYAN: I’m sad that Nine only got one nomination in the major categories.
CAROLINE: I’m sad that The Blind Side got nominated for Best Picture. I guess that’s what happens when you have ten nominees. And how is it that Up can be nominated in both the Best Picture category and the Animated category? That doesn’t seem fair.
RYAN: It stole the nomination from The Hangover which won the Golden Globe.
CAROLINE: And the nominees are:

YaY!! It's Oscar time…thanks for this review it goes me something to reference when I'm talking to people or friends/family about the oscars…I didn't even care (yet along watch) about the grammy's this year…I am a little bummed that Jim Broadbent wasn't nominated for his performance as Professor Horace Slugghorn…He was FANTASTIC and I don't think anyone could of done better!
