New on DVD
CAROLINE: A bunch of random movies are new on DVD today, and surprisingly, I don’t think we’ve seen any of them.
RYAN: Wow, that’s weird considering how many movies we see; but I think you’re right. I definitely didn’t see “Sex Drive.”
CAROLINE: It’s actually supposed to be pretty funny, and it’s got a decent cast including James Marsden and Seth Green. I can’t say I see myself rushing out to rent it though. It seems like a teen sex comedy.
RYAN: It’s not first on my list either. But there’s an unrated edition for those who are interested. That Robert De Niro movie, “What Just Happened” is also new on DVD today.
CAROLINE: Ugh, that movie stank. I had high expectations for it too. I love those “inside Hollywood” kind of flicks, but this one was just lame. Definitely not worth renting.
RYAN: That’s disappointing. It should have been good.
CAROLINE: It was so boring. Let’s move on to “Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father.” I didn’t get to see it, but I really want to. It’s a documentary about a guy who was murdered; his best friend made it. It seems very moving.
RYAN: Sounds sad and hard to watch.
CAROLINE: I’m sure it is, but I’ve heard nothing but raves about it. I definitely want to rent it.
RYAN: It sounds interesting; but other than that one, I think the new DVDs this week are about as exciting as the new releases this week.
CAROLINE: In other words, not at all.
