New on DVD

CAROLINE: It’s pretty slim pickings this week for DVD releases, which is fine since there are so many great summer movies to choose from in theaters. The only big DVD coming out today is “21,” the blackjack movie starring Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth and Jim Sturgess.

RYAN: This movie was decent, but not life-changing or anything. Worth a rental I’d say.

CAROLINE: I remember liking all the different outfits that they wore as disguises in the casinos. But Kate Bosworth looked so awful throughout.

RYAN: She was having a really bad hair day for the whole movie. And her different colored eyes were very distracting to me.

CAROLINE: I really liked seeing Kevin Spacey again though. There’s a special 2-disc edition of the DVD for the true fans.

RYAN: If you like Vegas and gambling, you’ll enjoy this movie.
