New on DVD

RYAN: New on DVD today is the movie musical “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.”

CAROLINE: We both totally loved this movie when it came out. In fact, it was one of my top 3 favorite movies of last year.

RYAN: And we still love it. It’s so well done, Tim Burton.

CAROLINE: And upon receiving an advanced copy of the special edition 2-disc DVD from our good pal, Ryan Turrin, we’re happy to report, it holds up on the small screen.

RYAN: If you’re at all inclined to own this film, you have to get the 2-disc’er ‘cos the extras are so very.

CAROLINE: There’s a great amount of behind-the-scenes stuff and interviews aplenty with the cast and crew.

RYAN: I love the documentaries on whether it’s based on a real person and the evolution of the Broadway musical. It really inspires you to just watch the movie again with a much richer appreciation.

CAROLINE: It’s so good, and so worth re-watching if you’ve already seen it.

RYAN: But there are loads of other amazing extras on disc 2 – a making-of doc, a deep look into the work that went into the effects and blood creation for the film, plus fun footage of rehearsals and even recording sessions. It might be one of the best extras on any DVD to date.

CAROLINE: Them’s fighting words!

Thanks For Viewing The New on DVD
