CAROLINE: I was just reading online that one of my favorite directors, David O. Russell, is casting a new movie and it sounds fabulous!! Each cast member is better than the next.

RYAN: Is this one of those things that I’m not going to care about nearly as much as you?

CAROLINE: Well, I know we both hated “I Heart Huckabees.” But I am so in love with “Flirting With Disaster” that I’m willing to give David O. another chance. And wait till you hear this cast: Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel.

RYAN: Ooh. I’m vaguely interested.

CAROLINE: But wait, there’s more! James Marsden, Catherine Keener and Tracey Morgan are all about to sign on!

RYAN: Now that’s something I can get excited about! You know j’adore James Marsden from “Enchanted.”

CAROLINE: The movie is called “Nailed” and James will play Jessica Biel’s BF. Jessica plays a small-town waitress who gets a nail shot into her head which results in strange, erratic behavior. She then goes to Washington to lobby for health care where she falls for Jakey Gyllenhaal, who plays a congressman. And Catherine Keener plays a congresswoman.

RYAN: WTF? This sounds loonier than Huckabees.

CAROLINE: I know it sounds completely wacky, but c’mon… we’ve come to expect that from Mr. Russell. I’m totally on board because of the awesome cast. They’re gonna start shooting next month.

RYAN: We’ll see. I might be willing to give a chance.
