CAROLINE: It’s official! Nicole Kidman has not only officially announced her pregnancy, she’s also pulled out of her latest film, “The Reader.”

RYAN: Good for her! I’m so thrilled.

CAROLINE: Yeah, but they’d already started shooting the film in Berlin at the end of last year, so I’m sure production is going to get delayed now. Luckily, they hadn’t shot any of her scenes yet.

RYAN: That’s a relief. What’s the movie about?

CAROLINE: It’s about a teenager in postwar Germany who falls for a mysterious older woman. Ralph Fiennes also stars. No word yet on who’s going to replace Nicole.

RYAN: Well I’m not too concerned because I can still get my Nicole fix in “Australia,” the new Baz Luhrmann movie she just filmed with Hugh Jackman.
