In an unexpected turn of events, we’re slammed with more cruise-azy casting news today!

Paris Hilton has signed on to both act and sing in the upcoming “Repo! The Genetic Opera.” It’s tagged as a musical set in 2056.

Don’t get us wrong… we love us a movie musical; but casting Paris McHilton in one? And with a sci-fi twist? This has blockbuster written all over it! 😉

The film also stars Paul Sorvino as Paris’s dad and will be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman who did the three “Saw” movies.

Let’s collectively vomit a bit in our mouths on the count of three.

“Repo! The Genetic Opera” is slated for a 2009 release. So let’s vomit… and hold our breath!
